Excel style sheet

All,

Do you know where I can find xls specs for converting to Excel reports?  In the hellopage example for Excel generation for Cocoon-2.1M2, there is xmlns:gmr="http://www.gnome.org/gnumeric/v7".  But I went there and didn't find the exact file on how to write xls for Excel.  Can anyone give me some insights on where to start?
