using SVN mounted folders

Hello,

Not quite sure where to go with those questions. Maybe they are known
bugs, maybe they are known limitations?

I have some portions of my hard-disk mounted as folders on others. E.g:
C:\mycheckout is not a normal folder, but a mounted partition.

A long time ago I was told that the problems with mounted NFS folders
would be solved in SVN 1.7.
I upgraded, though I use TortoiseSVN. I also updated my repositories
(via TortoiseSVN)

It appears that some commands like showing a log, do now work on NFS
mounted folders.

First think I noted is, that the root folder itself is now shown as
"obstructed" for those checkouts. I tried "clean up", or reverting all.
Still obstructed.
Second, I noted that "apply patch" complains that is not a directory
(not sure if that is SVN or tortoise related?)

If anyone could shed some light, if any of this is known? if I should
report any of that, or what the chances are of it being fixed, and how soon?

Many thanks
Martin
