Hi All,

We are working on SOA Integration project

Our tool does not support most of UDDI Specifications. And we have three
different service registries.

We would like to publish all our web services on to single UDDI Registry.

In my investigation I see jUDDI provides required below features

1) Registry Query URL

2) Publishing Service URL

I would like to know more details on jUDDI. how can I publish my WSDL on to
jUDDI server ?

Any tutorial docs or user guides will help me. Please do share me good docs.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Vijaya,

The alpha release does not have a console, but we've been working one

since. You can try the portal bundle:

http://people.apache.org/repo/m2-snapshot-repository/org/apache/juddi/juddi-
portal-bundle/3.0.0.SNAPSHOT/juddi-portal-bundle-3.0.0.20090417.011228-5.zip

To login into the portal use juddi/juddi. Then to log into a portlet use

root/pw

It's a work in progress. Feedback or help would be great as we are

actively working on it to get this done soon.

Cheers,

RE: UDDI A

Hi Vijaya,

There’s a user guide that comes with the v3 alpha release that talks about
the authentication mechanism. Basically, you simply need a record in the
publisher table (which doesn’t store a password). You can then pass the
publisher name with a blank password to get an auth token. The Publisher
structure is specific to jUDDI and is designed as an out-of-the-box user
table. jUDDI is meant to be flexible enough to hook into your own
authentication schemes. There are some details on this in the user guide.

Concerning your question below, the UDDI committee provided a suggested way
to publish a WSDL into a registry. Here is the technical note:

http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/uddi-spec/doc/tn/uddi-spec-tc-tn-wsdl-v
2.htm

This is written with UDDI v2 in mind. You can apply it to version 3 though.
The only real difference is the tModels referenced should have the version 3
human-readable keys.

Regards,

Jeff
