This would return an ID string of of up to 32 bytes in length. It should be unique, like a serial number of the MCU, or serial number from a flash chip.

This must not be something that cannot be changed programmatically.

An example of this would be for Olimex board, use the 'unique device ID' register contents from STM32F4.
