Zhixiong Chen commented on KYLIN-3255:
--------------------------------------

Hi, [~jlbellier]

I check the code and  I find if it gets incorrect encoding it will warn like this in 'DimensionEncodingFactory.java'.

However 'dict' is a normal encoding. And the save cube is useable for me.

So could you provide more detail about this issue, like cube's JSON?

> Hello,
>
> I am trying to create a cube from myself, based on  kylin_sales_cubes, and I face a major problem that a really do not Understand.
> I get the message "Unknown dimension encoding name 'dict' (note ('dict' is not handled by factory).
> I checked the JSON file compared to the original JSON file for kylin_sales_cube for 'dict" type and I do not see what is wrong. I have also not found what is incorrect in kylin.log file.
>
> I send both files in attachment.
>
> Thank you in advance for your help.
> Have a good day.
> Best regards.
