Procedure For Creating Perl Portlet using Bridges

Hello-

I am seeking to implement a perl-based portlet using Bridges and 
inserting it into the Gridsphere portlet container. I have searched for 
documentation on how to use Bridges, but have found none.

How do you use the pre-compiled bridges distribution?
