Turbine schema

Hi,

Can someone tell me why Tables Turbine_Role, Turbine_Permission and
Turbine_Group have a column of type MEDIUMBLOB?  What kind of information
will be stored there?

No facilities are provided to utilise the columns in question and they do
not or will not exist in future versions of turbine.
