BugRat Update

Hello Jakarta Developers,

I will be out of town from tomorrow until monday AM to
go to the middle of nowhere in North Dakota. (don't
ask) I will be MILES from a computer.

Two things to note:

1) The server BugRat is running on has developed a SIG
11 problem in the last week, which points to a
hardware issue. I believe my AMD k6-2 450 chip is
either experiencing electromigration (this chip is
known for this :( Grrr) or my SDRAMs are erroring out.
It has so far not caused a crash.

The firewall has been rock-solid.

2) In anticipation of potential problems, I have
backed out of IBM's JDK 1.3 Beta (which is 45% faster)
in favor of the more stable 1.2.2 JDK from Blackdown.

I don't know what to say, but if there are problems,
there isn't really anything I can do until Monday. I
think it will be fine, but then I'm warning everyone
to be on the safe side.
