RE: xerces schema question

Was looking at version 2.0.1 docs.  Is the
abstract model dom3 functionality meant for such
a case?

what is the best way to "build in" the xml schema 
into the java code, instead of having a separate 
xsd file.

I am using version xerces 1.4.4.
