[Bug 123990] New: DDE links do not update
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=123990
Bug ID: 123990
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: DDE links do not update
Product: Calc
Version: 4.0.1
Hardware: All
OS: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P3
Component: open-import
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: pmyers123@hotmail.com
CC: issues@openoffice.apache.org
I have Windows 7 professional 64 bit. Apache 4.0.1. When putting a DDE link by
copying the cell from one spreadsheet and pasting special to another and
selecting link, the data does not update. When I press F9, nothing updates.
When I looked under tools - cell contents - they are set to update
automatically. When I tried Shift-Control F9, they did not update, and when I
clicked on file, reload, they did not update. Only when I first open the file
will they update. I have no problems with any of the workbooks in Excel. Only
in open office does the link not update when created in open office.
