working on MNG-7375, it is clear that current documentation on repository metadata (I wrote in 2020...) needs more details: https://maven.apache.org/ref/3.8.4/maven-repository-metadata/index.html

and there is one specific question to document: given [org.apache.maven.artifact.repository.metadata.GroupRepositoryMetadata|https://maven.apache.org/ref/3.8.4/maven-compat/apidocs/org/apache/maven/artifact/repository/metadata/GroupRepositoryMetadata.html] has been put in maven-compat, it seems it means that plugins information is considered "compat" only and will be removed in the future
=> we need ton confirm and document (for example by marking some generated classes as deprecated)
