Bug replication also confirmed on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Open Office
Writer 3.4.1 Build:9593

Steps for replication:
1) Both documents and associated images confirmed to display correctly with
their respective image effects and sizing on Microsoft Word 2010.

2) Both documents and associated images are duplicated and image effects are
lost when opened with Writer 3.4.1. Text and image formatting is also
incorrect.


This is a significant bug because it prevents full .doc compatibility in Open
Office Writer. Users of Open Office Writer should not have to worry about
compatibility issues and should be able to open Word documents without losing a
significant amount of data and/or formatting.
