[ANNOUNCE] Apache Portals Applications 2.0 Releases

The Apache Portals team is pleased to announce the General Availability of 1.1 releases for the major Portals Applications.

Apache Portals Applications is dedicated to providing robust, full-featured, commercial-quality, and freely available Portlet Applications 
under the Apache license developed at the Apache Software Foundation.

These 1.1 version releases provides upgrades for following portlet applications with bug fixes, new features, and improvements:

* Gems - A collection of reusable portlets including Flash, Google Maps, File, Event and Browser portlets.
* Database Browser - A portlet application dedicated to the development and database portlet development including scrollable lists and data 
entry forms
* Demo - A portlet application dedicated to learning Java and Groovy portlet programming and tutorials, as well as some helpful weather and 
bookmark portlets
* RSS - A portlet application dedicated to the development of RSS portlet features
* Web Content - A portlet application dedicated to the development of Web Content rewriting and IFrame based web content. The Web Content 
application has added reverse proxy support for web content and iframe portlets, including auto-sizing for iframes from same domain as server.
