[jira] [Closed] (INFRA-12116) ssh access to PMC zones/VM after change in Chair

Gavin closed INFRA-12116.
-------------------------
    Resolution: Fixed

Feel free to add others, however this is the process :-

1. create them an account on the VM - please use their asf gid.
1a. be sure to add them to 'sshusers' group and not 'wheel'.
2. They will need to create a $username.pub file and upload it to svn.
3. Let us know once everyone who needs access has done this so we can prep their access. (New Jira ticket)
4. On first login ensure they configure ortpasswd before giving them wheel group access assuming that is they need sudo.

> The SpamAssassin former chair suddenly became unavailable and is the only one we know with ssh/sudo access to machines we use to run our mass-check services and perhaps even our buildbot.
> I am the new PMC chair.
> I'm not sure exactly which of these machines are used for what. The former chair had an item on his to-do list to move files off of "zones2" so it could be decommissioned. I assume that zones2 means the the spamassassin2 machine in the list below.
> I have identified these three machines as being involved in our setup. I have some documentation and I'm willing to dig. What I need from infra is ssh and sudo access to these machines so I can investigate what to do next, complete the migration, make sure our mass-check services continue to run smoothly, and make sure that I do not remain a single point of failure.
> If anyone at infra has knowledge about these machines that would be useful to help me get up to speed, I would also appreciate hearing from you.
> These are the three machines to give me access to. You can use the public ssh key that is in my account or if you want I can create a new key for this purpose.
