[jira] [Commented] (BEAM-2530) Make Beam compatible with next Java LTS version

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEAM-2530?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16477402#comment-16477402 ]

Ismaël Mejía commented on BEAM-2530:
------------------------------------

I changed the title to reflect that it is probably a too hard target to track every 6 months release and we should probably focus on the LTS release of Java (11 / 18.9 LTS at this moment) because all the ecosystem Beam depends on it is not yet ready to support the upcoming Java changes.
