[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-8199) Text specifying which UI a user is looking at is incorrect

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-8199?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14972735#comment-14972735 ]

Upayavira commented on SOLR-8199:
---------------------------------

Those "new UI" and "Original UI" are supposed to be *links* rather than *titles*. From your original confusion I took the fact that that wasn't clear.

Please do an SVN up, and redo 'ant server' - you'll see I've added a warning message on the new UI (as a part of SOLR-7858). Let me know what you think - is it clearer now? Other suggestions as to how to make it clear that the "New UI" words are a link not a title?

> In the top right corner of the admin UI, a text is available to indicate whether the user is looking at the original UI or the new one.
> But it currently says "New UI" for http://localhost:8983/solr/#/ and "Original UI" for http://localhost:8983/solr/index.html#/ when it should be the other way around.
> This issue is tied to #SOLR-7666
