[I] Data Editor: Incorrect Session Counts [daffodil-vscode]
JeremyYao opened a new issue, #1230:
URL: https://github.com/apache/daffodil-vscode/issues/1230
### Description
Version: 1.4.1 Snapshot
System: Ubuntu 22.04
When opening and closing data editor instances, the session count number may get incorrect as shown in the screenshot

I'm not able to replicate the issue consistently, it seems to happen sporadically.

Let's do some investigation to replicate this consistently.

@shanedell The session count process flow is as follows
#### Omega Edit Session Info
Omega Edit exports server related API calls, including a `getServerHeartbeat()` function which returns on object that contains a `sessionCount` property.
The `sessionCount` property is obtained from an instantiation of an `EditorClient` class associated with an omega edit client operating on a specified hostname and port number. This class contains a member function for obtaining the session count of the sessions the client is handling.
With that being said, multiple sessions on the same host:port pointing to the same file is associated with a single session. Likewise, if the same file is loaded into the Data Editor on separate ports then it would be considered multiple sessions.

Notes after some investigation
-Was able to get the correct number of session counts
-Anytime you open multiple data editors, you must make sure that the file you select hasn't been selected before
-If you open the data editor a third time and select jpeg.dfdl.xsd, but you already selected it before, it will not update the session count
-Session count only updates if the file is unique from the previous ones

@naga-panchumarty Are these different data editors being ran on different ports? But I am also wondering if omega-edit is basing the session count on different filepaths, @scholarsmate could you comment exactly what is done to get the session count or is there some disconnect from C/C++ library to the Scala Server or the TypeScript client?
