[Bug 117894] Copying from Open Office applications locks clipboard for approx 5 seconds

Issue persist in all OOo bersions I've used, since 3.2.
It is very notable without any pasting.
Launch Calc.
Enter any text into cell.
Go into cell edit mode.
Select [part of] cell content.
Hit Copy action.
The screen locks up, cursor stop flashing, nothing can be done with application
for approx 5 sec.

Sadly, the effect is not persistent, which makes me believe it is influenced by
some other software that can be run concurrently in system.
But only notable things that run when I encounter such OOo behavior are games.
(WoW, SW:ToR, SoH... First two make use of DirectX, the latter uses OpenGL and
SDL)
