DO NOT REPLY [Bug 49295] New: JMXAccessorTask.getProperties() -
return Properties not Map?
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49295
Summary: JMXAccessorTask.getProperties() - return Properties
not Map?
Product: Tomcat 7
Version: trunk
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: Catalina
AssignedTo: dev@tomcat.apache.org
ReportedBy: sebb@apache.org
JMXAccessorTask.getProperties() currently returns the raw type "Map".
It's not easy to change this to Map<String, String> so another option is to
change the method to return Properties (which is after all what the method
does).
This requires adding the cast (Properties) to currentProject.getProperties();

Properties implements Map, also a Hashtable may alternately be returned. But
since the public API returns map - there is no problem.
