This seems to be a known problem but is making use of Calc under Windows 7
nearly impossible. Continual bad allocation upon save and fatal lockups neither
of which are recoverable with virtually any amount of editing of cell values in
all forms of spreadsheets (small to large, single or many worksheets, a few
formulas but none with refs across worksheets or spreadsheet files). To avoid
you must save every few commands. This doesn't prevent the problem only limits
the loss of work. I've been using the Open Office suite for many years (10+)
and this is the first problem that has interfered with the productive use of
Calc. Seems not to happen when using Linux based Calc on same files.
