[vote] Petar Tahchiev as Maven [Assembly Plugin] committer
Hi everyone,
I've had the pleasure of working with Petar since sometime around August
or a bit earlier. He's been instrumental in getting this latest release
of the Assembly Plugin tested, patched, and ready to go. His continued
focus on the release cycle for this plugin has been a great help in
keeping 2.2-beta-3 on the radar.
As a result, I think he'd be a great addition to the project. He has
demonstrated a sustained, keen interest in improving this plugin (at
least)...in fact, mere hours after the 2.2-beta-3 release, he found me
and asked what was on the agenda for the next release.
I'd like to propose we make Petar Tahchiev a committer on the
maven-assembly-plugin. Please vote:
[ ] +1, sounds good
[ ] +0, meh. whatever.
[ ] -1, this is not a good idea
This vote is open for 72 hours. Here's my +1 vote.
Thanks,

+1 - it's a pretty critical plugin and dedicated folks on it are a
good thing imo

Actually I think for committer votes, all committers are binding.
Regardless, welcome Petar!

This vote has ended, and I'm happy to welcome Petar as a new Maven
committer! The results were:
+1 (binding): John, Jesse, Brett, Olivier, Brian, Wendy, Ralph, Arnaud,
Lukas, Dennis, Deng
+1 (non-binding): Raphael, Felipe, Benjamin, David, Oleg, Nicolas
Benjamin, I'm sorry if you're actually on the PMC now...I wasn't sure
which row to put you in. :-)
I'll follow up separately to see that Petar gains access to Maven's
code. As I mentioned, Petar is already involved in Apache Jakarta's PMC,
so he's already got a CLA on file.
Welcome aboard, Petar!
Cheers,
-john

Hi all,
I don't know if my vote would still count, but here is my +1 anyways -
Petar is a very dedicated person, and have been worked closely to
Maven since he ported Cactus build to Maven 2.
