Getting 3.0.3 to scan the emails

I reinstalled my server about a week or two ago, and for the life of me
can't get spamassassin to check my emails (or if they are, it isn't
being processed as Spam).

I have the following version installed (running FC4 Test 2 currently,
but previously installed this was all working, just think I'm doing
something wrong from a scratch install)...

spamassassin-3.0.3-3.fc4

I have read through the docs, and have tried various things in
my /etc/procmailrc (yes, want to set this up globally, not single user),
but to no avail.

I'll gladly post any files/cut and pastes or whatever to get this going
again. Appreciate the help ahead of time.

I changed it and will try to send an email from my mom's account on
charter and watch the headers.

Ok, is spamd running?

For test purposes, you might want to try try substituting spamassassin
instead of spamc above. The spamassassin command line is less efficient,
but it also doesn't depend on spamd so it's easier to get going.

Locally to my email server, then pop3'd to my client.

Below is what worked before I reinstalled..

DROPPRIVS=yes

Nope, didn't see any. Below is the headers from your email if this
helps...

1) Is the mail being delivered locally, or relayed to another server?

2) What things have you tried in /etc/procmailrc?

3) Have you looked in your headers? The should have several X-Spam-*
headers present if SA scanned them, even if not tagged as spam.
