Use DTD Validation

Is there a similar property
http://apache.org/xml/properties/schema/external-schemaLocation that for
DTD?  Basically I want to validate the documents against DTD, but there
no DOCTYPE defined within the document, so I want to set a DTD through
the property or feature.
