Unable to get Console in Solaris

Hi,
         I have loaded Apache Tomcat 4.1 on Solaris machine.
         After I use the startup.sh script,Iam not getting the console.
        Can anyone tell me hoe do i get the console.

Like for other unixes:

tail -f logs/catalina.out
