[jira] Created: (DERBY-559) With Network Client, user and password attriubtes specified in the url should not be sent to hte server with the RDBNAM or print with getURL
With Network Client, user and password attriubtes specified in the url should not be sent to hte server with the RDBNAM or print with getURL
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: DERBY-559
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-559
Project: Derby
Type: Bug
Components: Network Client
Versions: 10.1.1.0
Reporter: Kathey Marsden
Assigned to: Kathey Marsden
Fix For: 10.1.2.0, 10.2.0.0
Currently all attributes specified in the url with client get sent to the server as part of the database name (RDBNAM). They also print with DatabaseMetaData.getURL().
Since DRDA provides a separate mechanism for sending user and password these attributes should not be exposed in this way.
