[jira] [Created] (CALCITE-6177) Support datetime type

Caican Cai created CALCITE-6177:
-----------------------------------

             Summary: Support datetime type
                 Key: CALCITE-6177
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CALCITE-6177
             Project: Calcite
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: core
    Affects Versions: 1.36.0
            Reporter: Caican Cai
             Fix For: 1.37.0

It seems that the datetime type is not currently supported in calcite. The datetime type is a bit different from the timestamp and date types. Is it possible to consider supporting it?
