Concerning your question: I guess it will work alright as I didn't see too much
functional changes in the changes list, but I haven't tested it.
The one thing to look out for (and the only difference between the 1.2.4 and 1.2.7
bridge) is taglib specifications. If 1.2.9 (or 1.2.8) modified/enhanced their struts-html.tld,
you won't have that support with the bridge. But, you can easily modify the bridge (1.2.7)
provided tld yourself to merge in the changes.
