not supportet html-tag in struts-bridge

hello !

if i use the struts-bridge, and my application runs as webapp., the 
application delivers a full html-site.
this site contains the not supportet html-tags, like <body>.

so, if the webapplication runs as portlet-application - who deletes this 
tags ?
is it the bridge ? i can't find a method for this - or is it the container 
?
