Debugging FOP

How do you debug an file being input in fo format to fop when all one gets
is the following.  It does not provide you with a line number.

[root@pa-steclge-u2-c6a-145 fop-0.20.3]# ./fop.sh -d -fo test.fo -pdf
test.pdf
