Hi Uwe & Dawid,

Early Access b105 <https://jdk9.java.net/download/> for JDK 9 is 
available on java.net, it includes a fix for :

  * JDK-8144212 - JDK 9 b93 breaks Apache Lucene due to compact strings

Can you confirm fix is working.

I installed it a minute ago. We will see if the issues are fixed, thanks!

 

I also committed the new memory-mapped ByteBuffer unmapping code to Lucene Master branch (will be version 6.0):
