[~aponomarenko], thanks for the report.  We have been going through some API and compatibility changes through the versions.  Some intentional and some due to dependency changes from HBase, Hadoop, etc.

I was trying to figure out with this JIRA, are you proposing we try and integrate this report into the project or simply raising awareness?  It does not produce as pretty of reports as you provide but I have seen the Maven Clirr report[1] used to provide similar information heads up to consumers.
