[jira] Updated: (DIR-120) Matrix comparison against other LDAP servers

Trustin Lee updated DIR-120:
----------------------------

Summary: Matrix comparison against other LDAP servers (was: Matrix comparizon)

Fixed typo.

Is there any existing feature matrix published other vendors so we can find out what features they compare? Otherwise, we could just create a new one based on Open Group LDAP certification requirements.

> Matrix comparison against other LDAP servers
> --------------------------------------------
>
> Key: DIR-120
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIR-120
> Project: Directory
> Type: Wish
> Reporter: Emmanuel Lecharny
> Priority: Minor

>
> A matrix comparizon between ApacheDS and OpenLdap could be a very cool thing to have.
> Of course, the intention is just to give clues to users about which product bet suits their need, and to expose the gaps that we will need to fill to be a competitive product.
> I don't think we can do that for other products, because of NDA we may be faced with (actually, I don't know if this is possible)
