[jira] [Created] (OODT-634) SolrCatalog throws Null Pointer Exception when no product is found

Luca Cinquini created OODT-634:
----------------------------------

Summary: SolrCatalog throws Null Pointer Exception when no product is found
                 Key: OODT-634
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OODT-634
             Project: OODT
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: file manager
    Affects Versions: 0.5
            Reporter: Luca Cinquini
            Assignee: Luca Cinquini
             Fix For: 0.6

The current implementation of SolrCatalog fails to return "null" if the desired product is not found in the catalog, rather it throws a NPE that propagates through the XML RPC client-server request. This makes checks on uniqueness by the crawler fail.
