Download Problem

Sent from Windows Mail

For some unknown reason Open Office will not download properly. I have been using Open Office for years as I have found it to be MUCH better than the one that takes over your work. Easy to use, and has all the extras. After a thorough cleaning I noticed my Open Office had gone away. So in my attempt to download it again, the logo will not come back (shows a Folder) and I cannot get it to open. Perhaps you can guide me in the right direction. Thanking you in advance for your help. Chuck…

Well you can edit your windows menu to link to your OpenOffice program. To
do this on a Windows you need to open the Windows Menu, right click and
select, add program and a dialog will ask you to *Choose File* and go to
your *Program Files *directory and select *Apache OpenOffice/soffice.exe*.
This will add an OpenOffice icon on your menu and will have a quick access
to OpenOffice.
