[users@httpd] mod_rewrite bug fix question
It looks like this bug was fixed in Apache 2.4.9
https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=53929
Red Hat 7 latest yum repository version is Apache 2.4.6
What are the options, if any, to address this bug in Red Hat 7 utilizing the repository provided Apache
Thanks for your time

Apache doesn't provide any repos. This is firmly in Red Hat's hands to
incorporate patches into their repos.
Meanwhile, Fedora has packages for this - F24 looks like it's on 2.4.23
right now. But of course RHEL is always going to be way behind that.
Possibly try EPEL?

Are you still hitting this bug with the latest Red Hat provided packages?
According to their Bugzilla, it should have been fixed some time ago (late
2015):
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1210091
