Gives the jar file for a java action
Hi Oozie users,
I am new to oozie.
I am trying to run my first workflow which is composed of one java action.
It is just a test where I am creating a file with the main arguments in
/tmp. It is
for running on my local machine.
What I did not found on the documentation is what are my options to insert
my jar file in the path: how can I add the jar file for all the workflow?
How can I add it from the workflow xml file?
I tried two methods:
- add a jar file in the share libraries
- have a lib directory inside my workflow directory. So I have
workflow/lib/test.jar
workflow/workflow.xml
workflow/job.properties
Both are unsuccessful.
My oozie error on the server UI: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
test.OozieTestMain
Thanks for your help,
Étienne

Hi Toussif,
Thanks you gave me indirectly the answer.
I did not know that you have examples of all the actions in the package.
I had to define the variable oozie.libpath in the job.properties, with a
template path.
I will try the distributed cache later.
Thanks again,
Étienne
