should i use a connector or default

Hello,

 

I am using Tomcat 6 running a Jive Forums application. There is actually
two Tomcat servers in a cluster. 

My question is should I use the default HTTP connector "Apache/Cayote"
or should I employ another 

connector with a full blown version of Apache? These severs will be
hammered pretty hard. Anyone has

real life experience with this?
