Xalan RPMs

I have prepared RPMs of Xerces-J, Xalan-J, FOP and DocBook XML. These
make the DocBook XSL stylesheets "plug and play" on RPM-based Linux
systems. Also, of course, it makes it more convenient to install the
Apache XML tools if you want them for some other purpose.

My RPMs also incorporate XCatalog support, so you no longer have to
alter system identifiers when formatting documents. The DocBook DTD
RPM automatically installs an XCatalog file in the right place to be
picked up by the formatting script. It is easy to make other DTD RPMs
which do the same thing.

I made these RPMs for use within my own company, but there is no
reason why they should not be made publically available too. Let me
know if you are interested.

Xalan 1, but it would be trivial to upgrade them to Xalan 2.

I'm currently coordinating with the other people who have produced
RPMs, but I could certainly make something available in the meantime
if that would be helpful.

Well, another respondent said something about another site that has RPMs
as well, but I'm still interested anyway. :-) Are they based on Xalan 2
or Xalan 1? (Xalan 2 being about 3 days old now.)
