should I upgrade to 4.0.0?
Hi all
I have some questions about OOZIE 4.0.0. I'm using OOZIE 3.3.0 and going to upgrade to 4.0.0
1. Is 4.0.0 backward compatible with 3.3.0 ?
2. Any company has already use 4.0.0 in production environment ?
Thanks and Regards
Dapeng

Hello Dapeng,
Oozie 4.0.0 is backward compatible with 3.3.0. However, there is a Database Schema change, so you will have to use the Oozie DB CLI script to upgrade to the new schema. Refer to those instructions in the Quick Start
- http://oozie.apache.org/docs/4.0.0/DG_QuickStart.html
Yahoo already uses 4.0.0 in production.
Please let us know if you face any issues.
