Dear development community,
I am happy to start the VOTE thread for a Groovy 5.0.4 release!
This release includes 23 bug fixes/improvements as outlined in the changelog:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=12318123&version=12356546
Tag: https://gitbox.apache.org/repos/asf?p=groovy.git;a=tag;h=refs/tags/GROOVY_5_0_4
Tag commit id: 20b2daf83b5a8127219932bcbd47b829fe29cf5f
The artifacts to be voted on are located as follows (r81934).

Just a quick update. Both 5.0.4 and 4.0.30 are released "on the ASF
side". You can find the binary and source releases in the normal
places and the artifacts are at:
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/releases/org/apache/groovy
But for some reason, they haven't synced with Maven Central as of yet.
I have submitted an issue with Sonatype and will hold off sending the
release announcements until I hear back.
Cheers, Paul.

I'm trying to test the 4.0.30 build with Grails & the project that had
the concurrency problems, but I can't find the binary artifact. Is it
possible the staging repo could be closed so it's accessible from
https://repository.apache.org/content/groups/staging/org/apache/groovy/groovy/
? The release step obviously wouldn't occur until the vote finishes
