I got the same problem. But, you should be able to handle that.

The way I did was, down load the Tomcat 51 alpha and unzip that.

Under <tomcat>/common/lib

copy the files
commons-dbcp.jar
commons-pool.jar
naming-common.jar
naming-factory.jar
naming-java.jar
naming-resources.jar

to your tomcat4124 directory, that should fix your problem.

I think that is not a tomcat bug, it is a apache common naming factory bug 
instead.
