migration from JServ + different JVMs

Hi all,

Does Tomcat support equivalent zonex.properties (zone or context 
properties) and servlety.initArgs (specific servlet configuration)? This 
may sound silly, but I can't find answers in minimalistic user guide, faq...

Can we have DIFFERENT (not multiple instances) JVMs on a single machine 
with Tomcat? I read the user guide which only talks about multiple 
instances of one single  JVMs.
