[m2.0.2]ant artifacts don't appear to home "useScope"

When I run the ant dependency task against a pom containing dependencies with different scopes, the "verbose" output from ant always includes ALL dependencies defined in the pom.xml (even when the ant task is defined with a specific useScope="compile" for example). Is this a known bug, or am I missing something?
