[jira] [Commented] (YARN-2056) Disable preemption at Queue level

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-2056?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14000044#comment-14000044 ]

Vinod Kumar Vavilapalli commented on YARN-2056:
-----------------------------------------------

Not sure what this really means.

Preemption today only works across queues and moves around resources across queues per demand and usage. Once we have user-level preemption within a queue, we can imagine adding the ability to control cross-user preemption, but right now this doesn't have any meaning.
