[jira] Commented: (OPENJPA-1662) Type support has regressed in OpenJPA 2.0

Pinaki Poddar commented on OPENJPA-1662:
----------------------------------------

I remember fixing this one on trunk. It is an important one.

My commits (952893) had messed up though to OPENJPA-1686.

> Type support has weakened in OpenJPA 2.0 for untyped relations.
> The problem is seemingly that
> a) Entity.class is not translated to PersistenceCapble class as parsing at all places
> b) the stringfication of OpenJPA identifier is not properly bi-directional
