Hi There,

Has anyone got experience with Stanbol replication?

Cheers,

Hi Aree,

Apache Stanbol uses the Apache Sling launchpad [1] as runtime.

For configuration the Apache Sling Installer framework [2] is used. By
default the FileProvider is included in the Stanbol launcher. By
default the launchpad provide and file provider are available. Meaning
that one can service configurations from the launcher (runable jar
file/ war file) and a configuration directory (default:
stanbol/fileinstall)

Binary resources (such an NLP processing models) are typically loaded
via the DataFileProvider infrastructure [3]. By default this is the
stanbol/datafiles directory. But datafiles can also be provided by
OSGI bundles.

To replicate a configuration is is typically sufficient to copy the
{base}/stanbol/datafiles and {base}/stanbol/fileinstall folders and
afterwards start the launcher in the {base} directory.

You might also want to have a look at the production mode section of
the webpage. [4]

best
Rupert
