I thought i would try Guacamole out on Opensuse Leap 15 and ran into an issue similar if not this exact issue with ./configure not finding my installed FreeRDP. I followed the instructions for getting all but telnet dependencies and winsock from here. [http://guacamole.apache.org/doc/gug/installing-guacamole.html#optional-dependencies] and still no luck. See attached picture for more insight into my state of confusion.

EDIT:
A while later after that screenshot i got everything but RDP, wsock and telnet showing up as yes.
