The documentation claims that the minimal JDK version is 1.2, but that's
not true (any more?): It requires JDK 1.3 because some classes use the
method "getPath()" of the class java.net.URL, which was obviously 
introduced after the 1.2.2 release.

This is especially an issue on FreeBSD machines, because there is currently
no stable native JDK 1.3 version for these systems.

So, please at least update your documentation appropriately.
