 OK, clearly this ticket has got to a dead-end with no decision. I want to
 see widget macros and I think it might well be better to have them sooner
 rather than later.

 It seems to me that we could probably live with them being difficult to
 discover, even if we only provide a subset of the existing views. I can
 see that it is a potential problem to provide visualisation that are
 subject to change as it would put restrictions on the things that could
 change about them which would mean an expanding number of visualisations.
