   @browndav If you could try the same scenario outside of Docker to rule out it being Docker-specific great.
   
   There are continuing issues around Docker and CouchDB that are ill-defined, especially when it comes to AUFS (see thread above) so we prefer to rule that out first.
   
   If you're unable to rule this out with 2.2.0 outside of Docker, I'm afraid it may be some time before we have any solid answer here.
